| This site is
dedicated to the south russian sheepdog (SRO : South Russian Ovtcharka). The Russian dog is one of the three sheepdogs of the old Soviet Russia (the two others are the Caucasian Ovtcharka CO- and the Central Asian Ovtcharka -CAO). He looks like a bear because of his fur long of ten to fifteen centimetres. He is usually white, but sometimes grey or beige. It's a very tall dog, quick tempered and alert with a strong musculature and terrifying reactions. His main job is to keep and protect. Lucky Sarplaninac owners (Yugoslavian shepherd dog), we discovered the Russian dog by chance, few years ago. Since, came Lapcha, her puppies, and all the joy they bring us. We expect making you discovering this marvellous friend. |
